He was briefed on ongoing counter-terrorism operations, the effectiveness of the security grid and measures undertaken to maintain sustained vigilance.
Deliberations also focused on inter-agency synergy and the infusion of advanced technologies to further enhance operational capability.

The Army Chief commended all ranks for their unwavering dedication, professionalism and steadfast commitment to duty. He lauded their sustained efforts in maintaining a high state of readiness under challenging operational conditions.

General Dwivedi also engaged with the Veterans in Poonch. The interaction included discussion on service experiences, ongoing welfare initiatives and contribution to Nation Building.
He also met Veer Naris and representatives of the civil administration at Poonch Brigade.
